IGF::OT::IGF - REPAIR/UPGRADE PHOTO-ACOUSTIC SOOT SPECTROMETER (PASS-3) THIS IS A REPAIR AND UPGRADE OF EPA S PHOTO-ACOUSTIC SOOT SPECTROMETER (PASS-3) INSTRUMENT. THIS INCLUDES THE PARTS REQUIRED FOR THESE REPAIRS/UPGRADES AND THE LABOR NECESSARY TO CARRY OUT THE REPAIRS AND UPGRADES. THE 781 NM LASER WILL BE UPGRADED TO A NEW MODEL TO CORRECT THE EXCESSIVE DRIFT OF THE LASER POWER OUTPUT THAT CURRENTLY PREVENTS THE MEASUREMENT OF LOW CONCENTRATIONS OF AEROSOLS. ADDITIONALLY, COMPONENTS OF THE MICROPHONE SYSTEM WILL BE REPLACED AS NEEDED TO CORRECT ANOMALOUS ABSORPTION MEASUREMENTS WHEN SAMPLING FROM SYSTEMS UNDER VACUUM.
