IGF::OT::IGF THE DHS S&T IS SEEKING A SOLUTION FOR THE CUSTOMS AND BORDER PROTECTION'S (CBP) UNITED STATES BORDER PATROL (USBP) TO COLLECT BIOMETRIC AND BIOGRAPHIC INFORMATION ON SUBJECTS ENCOUNTERED AND/OR APPREHENDED IN THE FIELD. THE CAPABILITY WILL ALLOW BORDER PATROL AGENTS (BPA) TO CONDUCT IN-THE-FIELD ASSESSMENTS OF ALIENS WITH OBJECTIVE DATA BASED ON BIOMETRIC IDENTIFICATION AT THE POINT OF ENCOUNTER. THE TACTICAL AWARENESS AND BIOMETRICS BUILD (TABB) MOBILE SYSTEM SOLUTION WILL INCREASE BPA SAFETY, OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY, AND PROVIDE BPAS WITH BETTER SCREENING CAPABILITIES AND SITUATIONAL AWARENESS IN THE FIELD.
