THE WORK INCLUDES THE REMOVAL OF APPROXIMATELY 4000-7000 CUBIC YARDS OF SAND FROM THE SAILORS HAVEN MARINA CHANNEL AND INTERIOR OF MARINA. THE DREDGING WILL BE BY CLAM SHELL EXCAVATION ONLY. THE DREDGING SHALL BE CONDUCTED IN TWO STAGES. THE FIRST STEP WILL BE TO DREDGE AND STOCKPILE THE SPOILS IN AN AREA DESIGNATED BY THE CONTRACTING OFFICER REPRESENTATIVE (COR) NEXT TO THE MARINA. THE SECOND STEP WILL BE TO SPREAD AND GRADE THE SPOILS STOCKPILE ALONG THE SHORELINE.
