BECAUSE OF THE POSSIBLE THREAT TO PERSONNEL THE MAPS CANNOT BE REMOVED FROM THE VAULT TO BE VIEWED OR SCANNED, AND THE DATA FROM THESE MAPS IS UNOBTAINABLE. WITHOUT SCANNING AND PLACING THE SCANS INTO THE NMMR ARCHIVES THERE IS A REAL POSSIBILITY THAT THESE MAPS WILL BE DESTROYED OVER TIME.
