THE OVERALL GOAL OF THIS ACQUISITION IS TO PURCHASE FORTIFY 360; INCLUDING HARDWARE, SOFTWARE MODULES, MAINTENANCE AND INSTALLATION SUPPORT. IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE SECURITY OF THE EOP NETWORK, INFORMATION ASSURANCE (IA) MUST HAVE THE CAPABILITY TO REVIEW EOP CUSTOM, COMMERCIAL, AND SOON OPEN SOURCE CODE BEFORE IT IS PERMITTED ONTO THE EOP PRODUCTION NETWORK. THIS ACQUISITION WILL ENABLE IA TO CONDUCT EXTENSIVE INSPECTION OF CUSTOM, COMMERCIAL AND OPEN SOURCE CODE, IDENTIFY AND APPROPRIATELY MITIGATE MALICIOUS CODE, AND PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR SECURE CODE DEPLOYMENT.
