JUSTIFICATION: THIS COURSE WILL ENHANCE OUR ECONOMISTS' UNDERSTANDING OF DEBT, EQUITY, MONEY, AND FOREIGN EXCHANGE MARKETS WHICH PLAY AN INCREASINGLY VITAL ROLE IN THE ASSESSMENT OF VULNERABILITIES IN LATIN AMERICA.
