Air Handling Shortfall - NYHAFL This request is to completely fund an ongoing but underfunded project to change much of the 3rd Floor Microbiology Branch's air flow from positive pressure to negative pressure, due to the handling of pathogens in these spaces. In addition to the air rebalancing, air pressure monitoring systems and controls are also being updated. Existing HEPA filters at each radial diffuser are also being removed.The project is being carried out by engineers from AKF with input from OFMS, NYHAFL, NYMPL, and HINES Building Management.
