NASA intends to issue a sole source contract action to increase the Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity maximum by six Post-Certification Missions (PCMs), and concurrently order up to three additional PCMs from Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (SpaceX) under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, due to the highly specialized nature of this requirement. SpaceX is currently the only NASA certified provider of CCtCap flights.
