The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is seeking a Design Build (DB) Contractor to provide design and construction services for a new?Calexico (CAX) Border Patrol Station (BPS)?in Calexico, CA, that will support the USBP expanded staffing and mission requirements. The facility will accommodate 347 Border Patrol agents and 14 support staff for a total of 361 personnel. The total gross building area is estimated to be approximately 110,000 square feet (SF). The facility will include operational support areas, locker rooms, restrooms, fitness/wellness, and additional spaces to accommodate staff, visitors, and in custody people. Special space requirements such as holding areas, a Command/Tactical Control/Operations Center (C2), a vehicle maintenance facility, a vehicle washing facility, onsite fueling capabilities, and parking will be integrated in accordance with approved facilities design standards and policies as required. Additional requirements should be evaluated, such as relocating an existing heliport relocating or expanding the existing equestrian stables/storage/arena, and demolishing existing onsite structures as necessary. Acquisition Strategy: This requirement will be competed on the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Multiple Award Design-Build IDIQ
