CBP is responsible for managing, securing, and controlling the nation’s border. It also has a responsibility for securing and facilitating trade and travel while enforcing hundreds of U.S. regulations, including immigration and drug laws. To carry out these responsibilities, CBP provides and maintains residential housing for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Enterprise Services (ES), Office of Facilities and Asset Management Directorate (OFAM), Mission Support Facilities (MSF) Division, Enterprise Facilities Support (EFS) Program Management Office (PMO), Housing Branch. The Housing Branch has twenty-six (26) housing units owned, maintained, and operated in support of U.S. Customs Officers and their families stationed at Land Port of Entry (LPOE) locations in Laurier, Washington; Porthill (Bonners Ferry), Idaho; Eastport (Bonners Ferry), Idaho; Wild Horse (Havre), Montana; Turner, Montana; Morgan (Loring), Montana; Opheim, Montana; Scobey, Montana; and Portal, North Dakota.
