To ensure the E-PACS remains operationally efficient, ICE E-PACS program requires that the incumbent vendor, Integrated Security Technologies (IST), provide engineering services to expand the capacity and functionality of the E-PACS platform. The E-PACS program continues to add new ICE field sites onto the enterprise. With over 15 new field sites slated to join the E-PACS this fiscal year, it is anticipated that the current E-PACS infrastructure will quickly reach its capacity to add card readers and supporting equipment to its framework. To mitigate this risk, procuring and installing additional server equipment will ensure that the E-PACS program will support new facilities joining the platform.
