KCHAFL Consumables Gases & Related Products KCHAFL Consumable Gases and Related Products for Laboratory Use:: The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Kansas City Human and Animal Food Laboratory (KCLHAF) requires commercially available, consumable, high purity, and high-quality laboratory grade gases in compressed and liquid states on an "as needed" basis. Laboratory gases shall be contained in cylinders and bulk liquid gases contained in outside bulk storage tanks with gas fill-up services.
