The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Arkansas Human and Animal Food Laboratory (ARHAFL) is accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 (general requirement for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories) and AOAC Guidelines for laboratories performing microbiological and chemical analyses of food, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, and cannabis. As such, ARHAFL requires an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited calibration service for its temperature monitored equipment. ARHAFL currently operates a continuous wireless temperature monitoring system supporting compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and internal quality management requirements. The existing SafePoint Scientific system provides monitoring of laboratory equipment including refrigerators, freezers, incubators, ovens, and water baths. The current maintenance and calibration contract is expiring, and continued service is required to ensure system reliability, regulatory compliance, and data integrity. The objective of this procurement is to maintain and ensure the continued operational integrity of the existing SafePoint temperature monitoring system.
