CBP conducted extensive hands-on market and independent agency research in determining the uniqueness of the Sonatype tool. In particular, the Sonatype vendor package includes a robust Software Supply Chain binary and source code scanner. The tool also provide an Enterprise wide SBOM Inventory Manager. Without the procurement of the Sonatype tool, CBP will be unable to conduct the following application security assessments. Acquisition Strategy: acquisition is being conducted under National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V contract vehicle, 100% Small Businesses (SB) socio-economic set-aside.
