The USBP Headquarters, Logistics Management Division, Agent Support Equipment program (ASE) is required to provide Border Patrol agents with an effective and purposeful inventory of personally issued equipment that enables or enhances the ability of Border Patrol agents to perform their duties in the field as safe and effective as possible. This includes, but is not limited to, thermal imagers, binoculars, flashlights, multi-tools, rescue tools, portable hydration solutions, bump helmets, and other miscellaneous equipment and gear as deemed necessary by the USBP.
