The USCG SFLC Engineering Services Division (ESD) Electronics & Ordnance Branch (EOB) is forecasting to procure a 5-year contract for MK 38 Machine Gun System Overhaul SPMR Kits to support the USCG YARD MK 38 Standardization Pier-side Maintenance and Repair (SPMR) Overhaul Program. The requirement is for the purchase of 16 kits per year for a total of 80 kits delivered to the USCG Ordnance Shop located in Baltimore, MD. A full list of the kit components is available through the POC. The Government believes BAE Systems & Land Armaments L.P. is only responsible source capable of providing the required standards and specifications necessary to fulfill this requirement. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote will be issued to BAE Systems & Land Armaments L.P. unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capacity to meet this requirement.
