Research abstract

This SBIR report was developed under SBIR Topic Number AF171-094. The objective of this SBIR program is to develop a new powder coating remover that is non-damaging to a wide variety of substrates while providing quick and effective paint stripping. The product does not contain acids, bases, peroxides, or hazardous air pollutants. The primary goals involve analyzing the target coating (Durazen 595C 37038), determining effectiveness of the coating removal solution on aged parts, economics analysis, product qualification, and pilot production demonstration.
