Research abstract

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) provides the capability to create high-resolution radar cross section (RCS) measurements of targets. Target data is obtained by measuring their signatures through an instrument grade SAR. The purpose of this effort is to integrate the Ka-band converter and antenna designs identified in the phase 1 effort into an instrument grade NSP-8D SAR pod and validate its performance.
