Research abstract

The enhanced Gen 2.0 RAZTEK capabilities will support the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and Air Force Air Mobility Command (AFAMC) mission, which requires detection, segmentation, and data reduction of smaller discrete hazards in on-road and off-road environments, runway survey mission planning tools and autonomous mobility and process management for runway gradients and soil hardness, including under concrete. In particular, improved interfaces that enable high-level supervision of autonomous processes will continue the research and development necessary to meet the Air Force need. Enhanced situational awareness and more efficient and complete data capabilities will provide further improved efficiency and reduced threat to the Warfighter.
