Research abstract

The purpose of this Phase II SBIR is to research and develop a Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) intermediary key distribution solution to address the Global Positioning System (GPS) User Equipment (UE) key management requirements during the Air Forces transition from Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) to KMI. The NKI team will demonstrate the solution through testing using the KMI Over-the-Network Keying (OTNK) emulator to deliver black Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing (SAASM) key material from KMI to a GPS SAASM UE. The solution will be capable of directly connecting to the KMI and support staged delivery solution receiving key from other KMI intermediaries.
