Research abstract

Scanning mirror has a wide range of applications in optical communication and free-space interconnections. There are a few technical approaches for scanning mirrors, such as gimbaled mirror, scanning mirror based on liquid crystal optical phased array, micromirror array. There are many disadvantages of currently available technologies. Fontus Applied Technologies proposes to develop a novel scanning mirror system, which is based on a novel design to achieve state-of-the-art performance in several critical areas.
