Research abstract

ABSTRACT:Metronomes Nidus System is a software solution that can close every potential gap in virtualizations emulation of normal operational environment by creating multiple-layer virtualization with awareness of what happens in each layer of the virtualization. Nidus System provides the following capabilities:- Nesting of two Hypervisor Layers of two different structures- The Hypervisors themselves are hardened with security measures- The Hypervisors respective Domain 0s are secured by hardening methods- Each Layer is further built with internal Introspection and Defense capabilitiesBENEFIT:Metronomes Nidus System provides the framework for:- Two Layers of Hypervisors for redundancy, no single point of failure- Containment of potential malicious behaviors in the Users spaces (Domain Us)- Security Strength through hardening of the Hypervisors- Framework for Digital Investigations (such as Forensics)
