Research abstract

We propose a two year program to develop an atomic vector magnetometer with a focus on ultrahigh stability and accuracy. The sensor will employ a unique component system that promises to obtain stability orders of magnitude better than the best existing fluxgate magnetometers, and one order of magnitude better than the best previous quantum vector magnetometer.
