Research abstract

This effort develops system concepts, a suite of algorithms and software for detection and tracking of moving surface targets (small boats, periscopes, and land vehicles) and dismounts that extends across the open water, surf zone, and beach. This suite of algorithms and software will perform accurate long-term tracking of detected targets with high probability of detection and minimal false alarms at reduced computational complexity.
