Research abstract

Space Micro will prototype a rad hard microcontroller chip with embedded flash. This solution will enable use of advanced FPGAs in interceptors (and satellites). Space Micro will provide tested prototype chip hardware at the end of Phase II in addition to the typical SBIR reports. With program funding from MDA primes (Lockheed Martin and/or Raytheon), a demonstration integrated into an avionics or imaging subsystem will be provided.
