Research abstract

Triton Systems’ team proposes to identify and develop a metamaterials-based lenses system capable of imaging beyond the diffraction limit in the visible spectrum. The use of negative index of refraction to resolve features beyond the diffraction index limit has been demonstrated for wavelengths outside of the visible. Triton’s team will expand the theory and experimental work on metamaterials-based systems that were developed in Phase I, with plans to achieve far-field performance.
