Research abstract

In this Phase I effort Rocky Research proposes a novel heat actuated cooling technology capable of providing air-conditioning and heating at high and low ambient temperatures. The solid-gas absorption technology is based on highly efficient complex compound technology employing variable capacity operation with pulsing refrigerant flow control as well as novel pressure actuated internal heat recovery. The deployment of the proposed system will result in improved energy efficiency, leading to a significant overall reduction in fuel consumption.
