Research abstract

MYMIC LLC proposes the development of BIRDS, a game-based clinical tool for the rehabilitation of traumatic brain injury related deficits in cognitive and motor skills. With the increasing number of returning service members with TBI, such a system promises to augment existing rehabilitation programs by proving measurable performance data for patients. BIRDS will leverage the widespread popularity of Xbox360 to deliver a solution that is cost-effective, dispersible, and effective.
