Research abstract

Our primary objectives for Phase II are: 1) Demonstrate HTM applicability to the analysis of IED data under multiple use cases. We will work with analysts to determine appropriate analytical capabilities where HTMs can provide value and integrate them with their methodology; 2) design and implement a fully operational “version 1.0”, flexible, modular HTM-based tool called IDAPT. We anticipate this will yield a unique, commercially-viable product that will effectively meet the needs of the DoD community as well as a wide array of commercial users in a diverse set of businesses. While we will direct our efforts on applications to historical and ongoing IED incidents, the resulting tool should be broadly applicable to analysis; and 3) develop infrastructure to integrate IDAPT into existing and ongoing analysis tools.
