Research abstract

Valley Tech Systems has designed a new controllable solid propulsion technology that has increased system level performance and mass fraction. The technology is called Propellant Control or (P-Con, Patent Pending). This technology eliminates the needs for bulky and power hungry pintle thrusters and increases nozzle expansion ratios significantly drastically reducing system cost while improving delivered thrust performance. The technology also provides improved controllability and thrust accuracy. In addition the technology contains inherent insensitive munitions capability and eliminates the needs for pyrogen igniters.
