Research abstract

In Phase II, Quallion proposes to execute a plan to valdiate our current feedthrough design to determine the minimum values needed to meet the expected service life of the component. This evaluation will aid Quallion in enabling the development of proper acceptance testing of lots procured feedthroughs, as well as providing the customer with specific values.  In addition, Quallion will perform further detailed design work on new design concepts. BENEFIT: Quallion will be able to provide the aerospace satellite community with a verified hermetic terminal seal designed for a twenty year service life on our current 15Ah and 72Ah satellite cell. This cell is being marketed to US government satellite programs, civil (NASA) satellites/spacecraft and commercial satellites/spacecrafts.
