Research abstract

Traverse Technologies is developing a WISE Toolbox that will bring the power and ease-of-use of Web 2.0 to an operational world now characterized by stovepipe systems and sneakernet.  During Phase I, Traverse developed the top-level architecture and design for the system and demonstrated a proof-of-concept prototype.  During Phase II, Traverse will deliver a fully productized and supported WISE Toolbox, available for use by military, civil government, and commercial users. BENEFIT: Traverse''''''''''''''''s proposed approach will yield a WISE Toolbox that is fully responsive to the solicitation, and will provide users with many of the capabilities promised by web services, in advance of full-scale web service deployment across the DoD systems base. The toolbox will provide a stepping stone that advances broad-based web service deployment.
