Research abstract
During the course of this SBIR effort, Novonics Corporation will develop an interactive game-based system to address the Psychological Health (PH) education and training needs of military service members. Developed in concert with the principles of instructional systems design and game-based learning, the future system will include a series of Immersive Learning Simulations (ILS) designed to provide an optimal blend of education and training tools for the military PH domain. The envisioned instructional solution will help raise the learner awareness about military PH options as well as develop the learner ability to recognize PH-related issues and identify appropriate mitigation strategies for a variety of PH issues commonly encountered within military environments.
