Research abstract

The US Military's might is in part based on the equipment it operates. It is important to the longevity of the equipment that the proper fuel additives are present to ensure proper operation when the time comes. We propose to develop a light weight, portable multi-parameter instrument for analysis of fuel additive concentrations. Photonic, electronic and MEMs technologies will be integrated in the final product in order to detect and measure all the desired parameters.
