Integrated Multiplexed Low-Cost Diagnostic Platform for Rapid Microbial Identification

EmergingDx Inc, in collaboration with its academic and industry partners, will develop a Self-contained, Colorimetric Integrated, Multiplexed, Low-Cost Diagnostic Platform for Rapid Detection and Identification of clinically relevant microbial organisms from cultured isolates at species level from a single input. The platform will not require any power or electronics for the operation of the device and interpretation of the colorimetric readout. The platform will have high multiplexing capability with high sensitivity and selectivity and be flexible to adapt new microorganism panels on demand, as well as suitable to accept from diverse sample types. Due to its compact size, it will provide simplified inventory for use in medical support of large-scale combat operations at multiple rear echelons.
