Research abstract

The primary objective of this SBIR phase II proposal is to design, manufacture and test a receiver chip for a cost effective ultra wideband (UWB) mm-wave radar system that enables mapping inside a wall, seeing-through a wall, and can be used for detection of stationary or moving concealed ammunition and weapons. The proposed miniaturized radar is portable and can be easily deployed in search and surveillance missions as well.
