Research abstract

The present solicitation seeks new designs for an integrated visualization suite for analyzing large heterogeneous data sets relating to satellite and space programs. Applied Minds, Inc. (AMI) has developed a range of technologies that provide innovative data display and assist experts in analysis and collaboration. Further, we have considerable experience in designing and building command and operations centers. We would like to use this SBIR opportunity to study the different kinds of data and display requirements for space applications, identify new applications for our existing technology portfolio, and begin conceptual development on new technologies and systems that will extend the state of the art and meet the USAF’s specific needs more effectively. At the end of a Phase I effort, we will present an overview of the field, recommendations and concepts, and a more detailed roadmap of the way forward.
