Research abstract
Traditional video surveillance consists of a complex array of closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras, sensors, displays, and associated cabling that make installation, operation and maintenance difficult. In response to this clear market niche requirement, Genex has developed the Smart Optical Sensor (SOS), a small, low-power, low-cost, and computationally powerful high-speed general purpose sensor processing platform.
