Research abstract

A 10 kV SiC power device based high power module will be designed and developed by Solitronics LLC. This module will be used to construct a modular, 50 kW DC/DC power converter. Multiple of this modular DC/DC converters can be used to power an array of pump laser diodes with combined output power as high as 500 kW. Demonstration of high power density and efficiency is a major goal of this project.
