Decision Information Sharing Integrated Targeting Environment (Decision INSITE)

The movement of the U.S. military towards coalition and multinational operations has highlighted a need for information and systems interoperability. Information and decision superiority on the battlefield is increasingly recognized as a main factor in the difference between success and failure. This Phase II effort will develop a JTLM to C2IEDM interface to facilitate the flow of targeting information into a MIP C2IEDM environment. An agent information management (AIM) application for targeting (AIM-Targeting) will be developed to improve information management and decision superiority in the C2IEDM environment. AIM-Targeting will search through multiple information domains in the C2IEDM data store for targeting conflicts and provide any identified conflicts and the associated information through a web browser. This will allow operators to access this fused data without requiring modifications to legacy systems.
