Research abstract

RADAR Flashlight, LLC (RFLLC), has successfully completed the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Phase I SBIR referenced in the title. RFLLC is now submitting a proposal to develop a demonstration prototype of the next geneeration RADAR Flashlight for use by warfighters to use in th Urban Warfare scenerio for clearing buildings. During the Phase I SBIR research program it was demonstrated that the RADAR Flashlight can be hand held and hand scanned across a wall and still detect the very small movement of a subject behind the wall due to motion from the Thorax during the respiration cycle. The sucess for the proposed Phase II SBIR program will allow commercialization of the next generation RADAR Flaslhlight.
