Research abstract

MYMIC LLC proposes to establish the conceptual design during a Phase I Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) for an interactive, scenario-based capability that will support training and certification of leaders and teams comprising a Joint Task Force Headquarters. The approach will be rooted in learning theory from cognitive psychology, be implemented as extensions or applications of existing groupware systems and situate learning in context by using accurate operational scenarios. Learning objectives will be based upon Joint Doctrine and Concepts. Design and implementation will leverage corporate and consultant knowledge of emerging joint concepts, groupware systems already in use, and training development methodologies. Prototypical users will be involved in reviewing requirements, proposed designs and eventual implementation of the proposed training system.
