Research abstract

Through use of either fixed or mobile assets, manned or unmanned, Metal Storm proposes the integration of their unique electrically fired, stacked round technology with appropriate mounting, targeting and sensing systems. The systems approach will enable the defeat of explosive devices both moving and stationary, with the effect of protecting fixed assets/personnel, protecting perimeters and convoys. This Phase II effort will involve two live fire demonstrations of the proposed Active Protection System.
