Research abstract

We propose to continue the development of rapid, handheld multiplexed assays for the detection of biological warfare agents and an associated handheld automatic reader. We will rigorously evaluate the 5-target assay developed in Phase I, and develop an 8-target multiplex during this Phase II project. The handheld automatic reader will undergo further modification and improvements to provide for the 8 target multiplexed assay.
