Research abstract

This Vibo Health Inc project proposes to develop phantoms for use in MagneXc Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS). The growth in the use of metabolomics for human health drives a commensurate need for test and calibraXon phantoms. The phantoms will be comprised of non-biological compounds, thus limiXng health and safety requirements, especially for engineering development. They will also have disXnct physical geometries, which mimic human extremity anatomy allowing for more realisXc in vivo analogs. The proposed phantoms will enable developers and other vendors to test, verify, and validate such devices at reduced costs.
