Research abstract

ISX and its subcontractors, the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition (IHMC), propose to expand upon the research work that we performed in Phase I to build a fully functional implementation of J-DASP, the JBI Dynamic Administration, Simulation and Policy system. The J-DASP system will allow administrators to control Quality of Service of the JBI through the use of resource control policies, visualize the flow of information and status of the JBI, and provide tools for simulating and testing the effects of policy on the JBI. These capabilities will be rolled into a comprehensive set of administration tools. The combination of these features will provide the JBI Administrator with greater control over the JBI and allow the JBI the ability to maintain a high QoS under extreme load situations.
