Research abstract
One barrier to PKI deployment is the lack of tools that perform certification path processing activities correctly, efficiently and securely. This Small Business Industrial Research (SBIR) proposal describes our plans to explore server based certificate acceptance techniques. Specifically, we propose to develop and analyze techniques for efficient certification path development, and techniques for caching, cataloguing, and using path development and path validation results.
