Research abstract
The main objective of this project is to prevent the reverse engineering or anti-tampering of military software and related technology and provide an automated method to install anti-tampering technologies. Of significant concern to the military is the capture of advanced weapons. Technologies contained in the hardware can be exposed by reverse engineering the software. Reverse engineering techniques applied by an adversary could result in the successful operation of these weapons. The proposed methods serve to thwart the most advanced military reverse engineering tools. Our proposed technologies will effectively eliminate the operations performed by off the shelf debugging and tracing reverse engineering tools. This project will provide effective, robust and reliable solutions to the reverse engineering problem.
