Research abstract

DCS Corporation proposes to develop a system using open specifications for automatically generating design documentation of legacy MDA source code in an XML and visual form. The XML documentation will be based upon extended UML models as implemented in a combination of MDA, MOF, XMI, PGML, and other techniques. The top level design of the system will maximize common design documentation output, introduce design metrics, and will serve to minimize efforts needed to produce a prototype during Phase II.
