Research abstract

In this effort a high temperature inorganic polymer binder will be combined with quartz fabric layers to construct radomes that will be transparent at millimeter wavelengths and act as an electrical conductor at low frequencies. Electrical performance and environmental performance will be demonstrated during this effort with the use of test coupons and full sized radomes. Lindsey Associates frequency selective surface design and fabrication procedures will insure an acceptable radome.
